Kits: the Learning Station
The Mechanical Kids Learning Station is designed to include everything needed to convert any classroom into a mechanical workshop. Simply wheel one or more workstations into place, and students can start learning within minutes.
What's included
- Personal protective equipment, including nitrile gloves, safety glasses and aprons.
- A complete engine, based on a single-cylinder Honda go-kart engine.
- All the hand tools needed to take the engine apart and put it back together. Only the tools needed are included, and some special tools are made for the kits.
- Precision tools, including torque wrenches and feeler gauges.
- A special engine stand that moves easily and holds the engine during disassembly and reassembly. The stand doubles as a safe way to hold the engine for start-up and test runs of the finished engine.
- All the lubricants and supplies needed for disassembly and reassembly.
- Spare components, including gaskets and other parts that are replaced each time the engine is taken apart and reassembled.
