Mechanical Classroom kits and experiences are for sale to schools, from elementary school through college. Wheel one or more Learning Stations into place, and students can start learning within minutes.
We teach the teachers
We offer help to "teach the teachers" about the program before classes are held using our Learning Stations.
What's in each Learning Station
- Personal protective equipment, including nitrile gloves, safety glasses and aprons.
- A complete engine, based on a single-cylinder Honda go-kart engine.
- All the hand tools needed to take the engine apart and put it back together. Only the tools needed are included, and some special tools are made for the kits.
- Precision tools, including torque wrenches and feeler gauges.
- A special engine stand that moves easily and holds the engine during disassembly and reassembly. The stand doubles as a safe way to hold the engine for start-up and test runs of the finished engine.
- All the lubricants and supplies needed for disassembly and reassembly.
- Spare components, including gaskets and other parts that are replaced each time the engine is taken apart and reassembled.
